Who We Are

Cedar Tree is the trading name for Stephen & Miranda Briars operating from      4 Ditchingham Close, Aylesbury, HP19 7SA.  Who are the publishers of Together Magazine and the organisers of Christian Resources Together and the Retailers & Suppliers Retreat.

Our Aim

To provide support, fellowship, training and any appropriate business opportunities for those working within the Christian retailers and suppliers trade.

Objectives

  • To support Christian suppliers and retailers.

  • To help develop skills and best practice for staff and volunteers.

  • To foster and invest in innovation and to encourage new talent across the sector.

  • To be a witness for the Christian faith.

Expressed Through

  • An annual retreat for retailers, suppliers and writers.

  • The publishing of a bi-monthly trade magazine - Together

  • Training opportunities for both retailers and suppliers in conjunction with the CSG & BA-CBG.

  • Awards - acknowledging the best in Christian retailing, resources, writing & performance.

  • The hosting of a website - Christian Resources Together.

What information do we receive and hold from you?

The information we receive and hold i.e. name, company name (if applicable), address, email and telephone (mobile and landline if applicable). 

Financial details are not kept except with businesses where regular monetary payments are made by Cedar Tree to organisations / companies for services rendered.

What do we use your information for?

Information held is for the specific use only for the promotion of Christian Resources Together, the Retailers & Suppliers Retreat and Together Magazine.

How do we protect your information?

All information is securely held and is not accessible to anyone outside of Cedar Tree.

Do we disclose any information to third parties?

Cedar Tree

No data held by Cedar Tree are passed onto third parties except for the explicit purpose of organising the Retailers & Suppliers Retreat and the publishing of Together magazine.

No data held by Cedar Tree is sold to third parties.

Together Magazine

We do not share your contact details with any third parties except for the explicit purpose of mailing you Together magazine.

Christian Resources Together

We do not share your contact details with any third parties with the exception of those booked to attend the Retailers & Suppliers Retreat. The only information passed to the Hayes Conference Centre is name and any dietary requirements.  This information is not retained by the Hayes following the event.

Lawful Basis

We will only use your personal details if we have a good reason to do so.  For example it is in our legitimate interest to send you Together magazine to continue our work, but in doing so we must not harm any of your rights to interests.  We will only send emails if you have given us consent to do so.  We only keep your information on our active database for as long as necessary.

Any association we have via Cedar Tree, Christian Resources Together or Together Magazine is with individuals, businesses or organisations who share a mutual interest in line with our aims and objectives (see separate Legitimate Interest Assessment)

What is our correspondence, telephone and email policy?

We will only make contact via correspondence, telephone and/or email when the subject is of direct interest to the personal recipient or their business.  We will not send you information from third parties.

Any inserts or promotional products that accompany Together magazine only come from sources that we consider are in line with our mission and objectives and no data is passed onto these companies.

This policy if effective from 11 April 2018.  Your continued use and interaction with Cedar Tree (Christian Resources Together and Together Magazine) means that you are happy for us to use your personal information described in this policy for the purpose of informing you of events and activities relating to Christian Resources Together (CRT), the Retailer’s & Suppliers Retreat and Together Magazine.
